Ch Jubilee Tropical Treat - Summer

Summer is a very special English Cocker.
She is one of our orange and white girls out of Hob and Callie. She is the repeat breeding of Spencer, Melba and Paris. Summer started out winning a major from the puppy class a few weeks before we took her to the national specialty. When we arrived at the national we realized that she had to compete in a very large (38) class of 9-12 month puppies. She made the first cut and then won the class! This was an awesome accomplishment as there were some gorgeous puppies in that class. When we went in for the Winners competition, I was thinking more about competing for Best Puppy, not Winners! I couldn't imagine that a little puppy could win over all of those beautiful adults. When the judge stood in front of me and pointed, I was in shock. Summer was Winners Bitch at the national. She went on to win Best of Winners and Best Puppy. She finished her championship with two more majors and was completely owner/handled. Summer has produced two champions from her first litter to Stuart. One of her puppies is a Best in Show Puppy winner and the other won a specialty Winners Bitch, Reserve Best in Sweeps and Best of Breed over specials. Summer has an awesome temperament and she loves to "sing". Actually, it's more like howl!
